Throughout the chain, from farm to fork, Aviko safeguards quality and safety. We set the highest standards for our production process, from product development and procurement to production, logistics and quality assurance. For example, the origin of the raw materials and consumables are fully traceable.
Every potato Aviko processes undergoes a series of stringent quality controls, starting with the selection of the potatoes from certified growers and ending with on-time delivery. Each step in the production process is critically monitored and, where necessary, improved. We make use of a high-level quality system and associated certificates. This way, our potato products meet all the requirements and expectations, and we minimise waste.
Aviko meets the additional stringent requirements in terms of quality and food safety of the collaborating European Retail organisations in Great Britain, Germany and France. Aviko has the IFS certificate (International Food Standard) and BRC certificate (British Retail Consortium).
